Ladies like to fish in Lakes Entrance
FEBRUARY 19 - 20, 2010
This coming February, Lakes Entrance will come alive with families from all over, for the inaugural Female Fishing Competition.
To be held over the weekend of February 19 and 20, 2010, it is promising to be lots of family fun.
Fishing will be allowed from both boat or along the shoreline, so whatever your preference, you will enjoy the weekend. Whether to fish or just be there and enjoy the fun of the event. Beginners will also be taken care of with "on-hand" help available.
There will be a variety of trophies and prizes up for grabs for all contenstants.
The rest of the family hasn't been forgotten, with a BBQ on Friday night, at the Gippsland Angling Club, Bullock Island, and on Saturday night, a 2 course dinner, presentation of trophies and entertainment at the Lakes Entrance Sports and Community Club. Local band Impact will rock the night away.
